It also enables us to provide advice, comfort and support for their families, friends and carers.

Each of our patients is unique and their needs vary. Some have medical needs, and others require emotional, social and spiritual support. We aim to care for the whole person whatever their need, improving the quality of life for whatever time is left. Hospice care is about making the most of life, and despite the fact that patients and families are facing difficult times, we do all we can to make St Catherine’s a place of light, laughter and love.

We rely almost entirely on the support of the community we serve, to ensure we continue to provide our vital services free of charge to those who need them.
