The Restoration and Maintenance of Salisbury Cathedral
Salisbury Cathedral Trust is responsible for the long term repair and maintenance of the fabric of Salisbury Cathedral. The Trust took on the work of the Spire Appeal that was launched in 1985. Since then it has been responsible for raising and applying funds to the repair of the West Front, and it has done this in conjunction with English Heritage.
Now, the Cathedral Trust has turned its attention to a number of the other parts of the Cathedral that are in need of repair. This includes the north side of the building where a significant amount of stonework needs to be replaced. In addition, there are a number of damaged pinnacles that require attention.
As ever, the cost of important repair to this great building is high, and the Trust continues to seek money with which to fund the work. Please support the work of Salisbury Cathedral Trust through these Christmas Cards.
I am very pleased to say that Salisbury Cathedral Trust receives 25p for every card sold. I hope that you will find the cards ideal for your purpose this Christmas, and I offer you sincere thanks from myself, and more importantly, from all the people who will benefit now and in the future from your generosity in supporting the work of Salisbury Cathedral Trust.
Yours faithfully
