The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is the leading charity providing practical support and advice to anyone with a serious sight problem.

Fifty per cent of sight problems are avoidable but every day, another 100 people start to lose their sight.

For many people who have worries about their own sight or the sight of someone they know, the RNIB Helpline, 0845 766 9999, is their first port of call. Dedicated staff provide a reassuring voice, offering immediate information and advice on the options available.

RNIB's pioneering work helps anyone with a sight problem, not just with braille, talking books and computer training but with imaginative and practical solutions to everyday challenges. We also fight for equal rights for people with sight problems.
