Havens Hospices Incorporating Fair Havens Hospice and Little Havens Children’s Hospice

Fair Havens Hospice cares for families throughout Southend, Castle Point and Rochford at probably the most difficult times in their lives.

A home from home In-Patient Unit for respite or terminal care, caring for families at home with our Hospice at Home service, daily care and support from our Day Care centre, caring in the community with our Macmillan Nurses and offering a helping hand through our Chaplaincy and Family Support Team are just some of the services available to those who need it free of charge.

“Our Hospice at Home Nurse was able to provide us with support at nights and was there to reassure and comfort us through our difficult times”

Little Havens is the children’s hospice of Essex offering a range of specialist one-to-one care services for children and their families throughout Essex and parts of London free of charge.

Focusing on adding life to days when days cannot be added to life.

With indoor and outdoor play areas, accommodation for families, special facilities such as our hydrotherapy pool and multi-sensory room Little Havens provides the necessary break for families caring for a child with a life-threatening illness.

To continue supporting the families who need us we need in excess of £5 million every year and with limited government funding we rely on the kindness of others.
