The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund is the unique trade charity of everyone who works, or has worked, behind the scenes in the UK film, cinema, commercial, television and affiliated industries. By buying these Christmas cards you will be supporting the CTBF, and all the money raised from these cards goes directly to help the Fund’s beneficiaries.

Over the past year the CTBF has helped nearly 1,300 people of all ages. The Fund helps in many ways and assistance is tailored to every individual’s specific needs: be it a weekly grant for regular financial support, paying for TV licences, telephone bills and even purchasing wheelchairs and stair-lifts. Cold weather grants are also paid to those in need. In memory of a former Trustee of the Fund a new initiative this year is the John Brabourne Award aimed at people suffering hardship who wish to gain a foothold in these ever-changing industries.

Christmas is a time for giving so all our beneficiaries receive a card and for the majority there are hampers for those living at home and care parcels for those in residential and care homes.
