Crimestoppers is an independent UK-wide charity working to solve crimes. We are not part of the police service or any branch of the government; Crimestoppers works for you, your family and your community.

Crimestoppers is a very straightforward concept: anyone with information about any crime or the activities of criminals can phone 0800 555 111 and remain anonymous. You won't be asked your name, nor to make a formal statement or to give evidence in court. If you have access to a computer you can visit our website www.mostwanted-uk.org and help identify the most wanted suspected criminals in the UK. You can give information through an online secure form or by calling 0800 555 111.

Since Crimestoppers was founded in 1988 it has received over 985,000 actionable calls and across the UK around 17 people are arrested and charged every day as a result of information given to us.
